Glenview Scores High In Annual Community Survey: Village

GLENVIEW, IL — Glenview residents are "overwhelmingly happy" with living here, according to the Village of Glenview. The results of the annual community survey, conducted last fall by ETC Institute, saw Glenview score high in a number of areas, including:

• 98% rated Glenview as an “excellent” or “good” place to live
• 97% rated Glenview as an “excellent” or “good” place to raise a family
• 95% are satisfied with Glenview’s overall image and reputation
• 88% are satisfied with the overall quality of Village services
• Satisfaction with Glenview police, fire and 911 dispatch services all exceeded 90%

The six-page survey reached a randomly selected sample of households through mail, phone and online responses. With 537 households participating – surpassing the Village's goal of 500 responses – the survey has a margin of error of 4.2 percent. The sample was designed to ensure results are statistically valid and representative of the community.

ETC, a research group that specializes in public sector surveys, previously administered community surveys on behalf of the Village in 2015 and 2019.
