Holiday In The Park And Parade Set To Return To Glenview

The annual event, featuring an appearance by Santa Claus, is organized by the Glenview Chamber of Commerce.

GLENVIEW, IL — As it does every year, the Glenview Chamber of Commerce and local businesses want to say thank you to the community, and will do so with the Holiday in the Park and Parade. This year's festive event is set to take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30.

"It is so rewarding to be associated with a great chamber that gives back to the community," said Jerry Doetsch, parade committee chairman, who has led the parade for the past 20 years. "Seeing all of the children's faces light up when they see Santa coming to town makes it all worth it."

The parade begins at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 1775 Grove St., and then continues west down Glenview Road. The holiday event culminates in Jackman Park, where Santa and his helpers will greet children with a gift.
