Man Approaches Car, Threatens To Shoot Driver: Glenview Police Blotter
Police said a witness confirmed the confrontation in the 700 block of Cobblestone Circle.

Jose Becerra Vargas, 62, of the 4100 block of N. Bernard Avenue, Chicago, is accused of having no valid driver's license, suspended registration, no insurance, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 5:59 p.m. Nov. 8, following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Greenwood Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 19.

Youngsun Park, 73, of the 1000 block of Lakehurst Drive, Waukegan, is accused of battery, obstructing a peace officer, and was arrested at 2:51 p.m. Nov. 6, in the 2800 block of West Lake Avenue. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 5.

INCIDENTS
IDENTITY THEFT
A Sunset Ridge Road resident reported at 10:36 a.m. Nov. 5, a $15,395 transaction appeared on their CitiBank account. CitiBank could not find this transaction, however, the resident said the transaction appeared in their credit history report.
THEFT
Employees of a business in the 900 block of Harlem Avenue reported at 11:25 a.m. Nov. 6, a female had come into the business and took a cup of food items from the front counter. An officer identified the woman and the business requested a trespass notice given.
RETAIL THEFT
- Employees for a business in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road reported at 2:10 p.m. Nov. 7, a delayed retail theft where a woman took approximately $815.40 worth of merchandise, including food items and specialty alcohol, and left without paying.
- Employees of a business in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported at 1:59 p.m. Nov. 9, a customer had failed to scan all their merchandise and left the store without paying for the items, totaling $202.12. The business advised the customer has done this on multiple occasions, including on Oct. 9, and would like Village Ordinance citations issued for Theft, in addition to a Trespass Warning given for the store.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident of the 1000 block of Castilian Court reported that between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Nov. 7, their home had been burglarized, with entry gained by prying the front doorknob lock. The master bedroom was ransacked, a safe was forced open, and approximately $500 along with several rings and miscellaneous jewelry were stolen, totaling a $4,050 loss including damage.
INTIMIDATION
A resident of the 700 block of Cobblestone Circle reported a male had approached their vehicle, threatened to shoot them, recorded their license plate and then left the scene. A witness confirmed the confrontation.
STOLEN VEHICLE
A resident of the 3900 block of Gregory Drive reported their vehicle had been stolen from the driveway at 8:16 p.m. Nov. 10. A person can be seen on surveillance approaching the vehicle. The resident has both sets of keys for the vehicle and advised it was locked. There were no signs of broken glass in the driveway.
TRESPASS WARNING
Employees for a business in the 9700 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 7:07 a.m. Nov. 11, a woman had been sitting in the corner of the business for several hours, harassing customers for food. She was asked to leave several times but refused. After police arrival, the woman walked outside, refused to identify herself, and talked incoherently. She acknowledged the trespass warning given by officers and left the area on foot.
