Nominate Glenview Residents For Hometown Heroes Program: Village
The Village, in partnership with American Legion Post 166, recognizes 10 people who are serving in the military or have in the past.

GLENVIEW, IL — Nominations for the Village of Glenview's annual Hometown Heroes program are being accepted through Jan. 31. Each year, the Village, in partnership with the American Legion Post 166, recognizes 10 individuals with a street pole banner in Downtown Glenview along with recognition at a Board of Trustees meeting.
Residents can nominate friends, family members or neighbors with a connection to Glenview and are serving or have served in the military.
Nominations received after Jan. 31 will be considered for the 2027 class. All eligible nominees not selected in 2026 will be carried over for consideration in 2027 and beyond.
