Oil Lamp Theater Expands Across The Street In Glenview
A new 2,750-square-foot facility enables the expansion of their arts education programs on Waukegan Road.

GLENVIEW, IL — Oil Lamp Theater recently expanded its arts education programs by opening Spark Center for the Performing Arts, located directly across the street from the theater at 1009 Waukegan Road.
According to the Glenview Chamber of Commerce, which held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new 2,750-square-foot facility, the theater will be offering classes, camps, and workshops led by top Chicagoland theater professionals for all ages and skill levels.

The new facility features two spacious studios for Oil Lamp Theater, which opened in Glenview in 2012 after being incorporated as a nonprofit. Oil Lamp produces a dynamic Main Stage Season, Speak Easy Nights, a Women on Wednesdays series," and seeks to continue investing in our connection with the community."
