Police Make DUI Arrest on Waukegan

Two teens were also charged with retail theft.

The following is from the Glenview Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DUI

Ronald McPhilliamy, 53, of the 3200 block of Springdale Ave., was arrested in the 2500 block of Waukegan Rd. at 11 p.m. Aug. 12 and charged with Driving While Under the Influence – Alcohol, Driving Without Lights When Required, and Improper Lane Usage. He was released on a $1,000 D-Bond with a Sept. 2 court date.

Retail Theft

Angela Williams, 18, of the 1600 block of Longvalley Ct. in Northbrook, was arrested in the 1900 block of Tower Dr. at 7 p.m. Aug. 13 and charged with Retail Theft, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Less Than 2.5 Grams of Cannabis, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Also arrested was Shoshana Center, 18, of the 3100 block of Plum Island Dr. in Northbrook, who was charged with Retail Theft.

Proceeds of a recent retail theft were located on Williams and both were subsequently charged with a second charge of Retail Theft. Both were held pending transport to bond court.

Possession of Cannabis

Hee Joo, 19, of the 1700 block of Sienna Ct. in Wheeling, was arrested in the 2800 block of Willow Rd. at 2:30 a.m. Aug. 15 and charged with Possession of Cannabis >30 Grams and < 50 Grams, Unlawful Use of Weapon – Bludgeon, Slungshot Metal Knuckles, etc…, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Consumption of Alcoholic Liquor by a Person Under 21. He was held pending transport to bond court.
