Residents Can Review Sustainability Plan Recommendations, Provide Input: Village Of Glenview

A public open house to continue sharing the findings is scheduled for September at Park Center.

GLENVIEW, IL — Last week, draft recommendations for Glenview's sustainability plan were presented to the Environment and Natural Resources Commission. According to the Village of Glenview, these initial recommendations are available to review.

The Village said it will continue to gather input from residents over the next several weeks. Recommendations are organized in the following four categories:

  • Resource Conservation
  • Green Community
  • Transportation and Mobility
  • Buildings and Energy

The Village is hosting a public open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 at Park Center (2400 Chestnut) to continue sharing these findings and gather input from residents.
