Store Reports Thief Stole $800 In Baby Formula: Glenview Police Blotter
The Waukegan Road business said the same person has taken baby formula on multiple occasions.

SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE

Medina Salgado Giovanni, 25, of the 600 block of Piper Lane, Prospect Heights, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, and was arrested at 8:16 p.m. Oct. 24, in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 2.
BATTERY

Frederic Mendelsohn, 65, of Skokie Boulevard, Northbrook, is accused of battery, and was arrested at 1:07 p.m. Oct. 25, in the 1700 block of Waukegan Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 13.
VIOLATING AN ORDER OF PROTECTION
Sandra Han, 47, of the 2000 block of Stave Street, Chicago, is accused of violating an order of protection, and was arrested at 12:12 a.m. Oct. 27, in the 3100 block of Brandess Drive. He was held pending a conditions hearing on Oct. 27.
SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE
Domingo Soto Carrera 45, of the 5900 block of W. Grace Street, Chicago, is accused of driving while license suspended, expired registration, no insurance, possession of a suspended driver's license, and was arrested at 6:55 p.m. Oct. 22, in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 5.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Mario Arevalo, 31, of the 300 block of Mannheim Road Bellwood, is accused of driving under the influence, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, speeding 26-34 mph over the speed limit, no insurance, and was arrested at 1:02 a.m. Oct. 24, in the 600 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 14.
PROBATION VIOLATION
Michael Elliott, 50, of the 70 block of Park Drive, probation violation warrant out of Lake County, and was arrested at 10:47 p.m. Oct. 20, in the 1800 block of Waukegan Road. He was taken to the Lake County Jail and then turned over to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
LEAVING THE SCENE
Iranelle Pasazadeh, 30, of the 6400 block of N. Kolmar Avenue, Lincolnwood, is accused of leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and was arrested at 1 p.m. Oct. 20, at the Glenview Police Department. The charge stemmed from an investigation into an incident that had occurred in the 3800 block of Willow Road. She was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 5.

INCIDENTS
IDENTITY THEFT
- A resident in the 3200 block of Brandess Drive reported at 5:45 p.m. Oct. 21, that someone had opened up a rental agreement in their name, which had shown up on their credit report for $1,541 on Aug. 23.
- A Cedarwood Lane resident reported at 10:40 a.m. Oct. 27, that someone had used their information to open an account at Verizon sometime in the beginning of 2025. They contacted Verizon and filed a report with their fraud department. There is no financial loss and they do not want to sign complaints.
RETAIL THEFT
- Employees for a business in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported at 11:05 a.m. Oct. 23, three people had taken $749.59 worth of merchandise, concealing the items in a backpack and pockets, before exiting past the last point of purchase without paying.
- Employees for a business in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road called police at 12:20 p.m. Oct. 23, to report someone had taken three cans of baby formula and concealed them in a backpack, before leaving the store without paying for the items. The same person has stolen baby formula on multiple previous occasions. Total loss is $800.76.
FLEEING/ELUDING POLICE
Police saw a vehicle traveling northbound on Sanders Road from Milwaukee Avenue at 10:03 p.m. Oct. 23, traveling 77 mph in a 40 mph zone. Officers activated overhead emergency lights to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle increased speed to 115 mph and was not pursued.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
A resident in the 300 block of Waukegan Road reported at 11:42 p.m. Oct. 23, that their neighbor arrived in the parking lot blaring music and shouting obscenities at them, honking the horn repeatedly and standing next to the complainant’s vehicle. When they checked their vehicle later, they located two scratches about 12 inches in length on each side of the vehicle.
