Unite Glenview Party Seeking Candidates For Village President, Board

The Village Board presidency and three trustee positions will be on the April 1, 2025, ballot, and each will serve a four-year term.

GLENVIEW, IL — While Election Day for local government is still about eight months away, one local party has set a deadline for potential candidates to apply that is just weeks from now. The Unite Glenview Party, a non-partisan group, tells Patch the Village Board presidency and three trustee positions will be on the April 1, 2025, ballot, and each will serve a four-year term.

Glenview residents interested in seeking nomination on the Unite Glenview slate for president or trustee, whether currently serving or not, must submit their resume and any comments they would like included, to Kay Laurie, via email at kay16fun@aol.com no later than Friday, Aug. 30. All participating residents will be contacted to arrange a date and time for an interview.

Any registered voter residing within the corporate limits of the Village of Glenview for at least one year, as of Election Day (April 1, 2025), is eligible to submit a resume. Party officials said the purpose of this process is to select and support candidates for election after carefully considering all applicants.
