Upgrades in Store for Glenview's Roosevelt Park

This fall, the Glenview Park District will begin making improvements to Roosevelt Park at 2200 Grove St., including building a new playground, reports the Chicago Tribune.

Another area marked for improvement is a lot on the west side of the park that had been destroyed by a fire in Nov. 2010, according to the newspaper. The property had housed a maintenance building, offices and a greenhouse.
