1 Dead After Car Collides With Metra Train
The collision happened in Ingleside Monday morning.
INGLESIDE, IL — One person is dead after a car collided with a train in Ingleside
The collision happened at about 7:30 a.m. on Wilson Street between Route 134 and Rollins Road, according to authorities. The crossing has a gate and the gates were activated at the time of the collision, the Daily Herald is reporting.
A portion of Wilson Road was closed during an investigation into the collision.
