1 Injured In Garage Fire In Grayslake: Fire Officials

Firefighters responded to the blaze at the home in the 33000 block of North Sunset Avenue in Grayslake Wednesday afternoon.

GRAYSLAKE, IL — One person was injured in a garage fire in Grayslake Wednesday afternoon.

The Grayslake Fire District responded to the blaze at about 4:40 p.m. at a home 33000 block of North Sunset Avenue. Firefighters were able to keep the fire contained to the garage area, which sustained significant damage, according to a fire district news release. .

A neighboring home sustained some minor damage as well, fire officials said.
