Amanda S. Pompeo Loved the Outdoors, Playing Softball

Amanda S. Pompeo, age 27, of Antioch, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 at home with her loving family by her bedside.

Amanda was born June 16, 1985 in Lake Forest. She loved playing softball in high school, and anything outdoors, including the many camping trips with her friends and family. Amanda was a lover of tie-dyed t-shirts and summers by the pool. She had an infectious personality and smile that will always be remembered.

Amanda is survived by her parents Thomas and Francine Pompeo; her beloved daughter Lily Salgado; her grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her brother Joshua Pompeo.

Friends of the family may visit at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, on Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., with the funeral service commencing at 5 p.m. Interment will be held privately at Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville.
