A design by Anna Ciamarra, 10, of Lake Villa, will appear on reusable bags available in stores starting Sept. 15, according to Aldi.

LAKE VILLA, IL — The artwork of a local girl battling pediatric cancer will be featured on reusable Aldi bags starting next week.
Anna Ciamarra, a 10-year-old Lake Villa girl with Leukemia, is among the artists whose pictures will be featured on the bags available in stores starting on Sept. 15. Ciamarra is a childhood cancer ambassador for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
Aldi recently invited ALSF children and their siblings to submit artwork for a chance to have their design featured on reusable grocery bags. Through the combination of a corporate donation, customer donations and a portion of proceeds from the sale of lemon-themed products and reusable shopping bags featuring ALSF artists, ALDI will donate at least $1 million to ALSF in 2021.
