Brothers, Ages 16 and 11, Killed In Crash; 2 Men Critically Injured

LAKE COUNTY, IL — Two boys — ages 16 and 11 — were killed in a collision Friday night in Lindenhurst, police said.

The Daily Herald is reporting the crash happened at about 11:40 p.m. in the 1700 block of Grand Avenue when a car crashed into a tree and started on fire. The boys were brothers and lived in Zion. A 20-year-old Zion man and 20-year-old Beach Park man in the car were both critically injured.
