Cody Ray Woodruff (Brooks) Loved Bowling, Watching WWE
A memorial service will be held Nov. 7 for Cody Ray Woodruff (Brooks).

Cody Ray Woodruff (Brooks), a resident of Hainesville, IL, passed away Nov. 1, 2013 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville at the age of 30.
He was born Jan. 17, 1983 in Rock Springs, WY to Debbie and Ray Brooks. Cody was a member of the Living Waters Church, Free Spirit Softball, We Care bowling and Special Rec bowling. Cody was loved by many! He was the life of every party. A loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend.
Cody grew up in Wyoming and South Dakota and later moved to Illinois. He graduated from Grayslake Community High School. He worked at Lakeside in Waukegan packaging office supplies. He loved bowling, softball, and played on many leagues and for the Special Olympics. Cody loved watching wrestling (WWE) and hated missing Monday Night RAW or Friday Night Smackdown. He will be more than missed and will forever be in our hearts and may he rest in peace.
Cody is survived by his parents Debbie and Ray Brooks his sister Susan (Shane) Vernooy of McHenry, and his brother Robert (Erica) Brooks of Round Lake. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Bena E. and Orland W. Strom, his aunt Cindy Paulson, his uncles Richard Gibbens and Bob Gibbens, and his brother Tim Brooks. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.Β with a luncheon to follow both at Living Waters 525 N. Atkinson Road, Grayslake. Interment will be held privately.
