Coroner IDs Brothers Killed In Crash

The boys have been identified as Anthony Tiscareno, 16, and Alonso Tiscareno, 11, both of Wadsworth.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The Lake County Coroner's Office has identified the two brothers killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday night in Lindenhurst.

Anthony Tiscareno, 16, and Alonso Tiscareno, 11, both of Wadsworth, died from blunt force injuries sustained in the collision Friday night, according to preliminary results from an autopsy.

The collision happened at about 11:40 p.m. in the 1700 block of Grand Avenue in Lindenhurst. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found four people trapped inside the burning vehicle, according to a news release from the Lake County Coroner's Office.

The two boys were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

A 20-year-old Zion man and 20-year-old Beach Park man, who were also in the car, were both critically injured, according to the Daily Herald.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
