Cynthia's Sweets Storefront Location Closing

Since winter 2004, she has operated Cynthia's Sweets at 206 N. Barron Blvd. On May 25, the shop will officially close.
Wisbey announced the closure on Facebook, saying: "It has been our pleasure to get to know you and your chocolate cravings and to help add sweetness to your lives. Thank you for your patronage and for the wonderful relationships we built. We truly appreciate you!"
She told Grayslake Patch that there are many reasons she decided to close her storefront location, but it boils down to this: "I'm exhausted."
"I'm tired. I'm taking the summer off," said Wisbey.
She added, however, that while the storefront location is closing, her business is not. She may even decide to open a new shop again somewhere.
"I love it so much that I still want to do it in some way," said Wisbey. "Keep an eye out, stay on Facebook. Cynthia's Sweets still exists."
