Driver Crashes Into Building That Houses Panera, Xfinity In Gurnee
The 49-year-old driver from Gurnee was seriously injured in the Sunday night collision.
GURNEE, IL — A driver and a passenger in a pickup truck were injured when the vehicle ran into a strip mall in Gurnee Sunday night, police told the Daily Herald.
The collision happened at about 8:40 p.m. in the 6400 block of Grand Avenue when the pickup truck went through the back of a building that houses a Panera restaurant and an Xfinity store, according to the article.
The driver, a 49-year-old Gurnee man, may have been experiencing a medical issue at the time and was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center with serious injuries, police told the newspaper. No one else was injured.
