Electrical Fire Forces Grayslake Business To Evacuate
The Grayslake Fire District was called to the building in the 300 block of North Barron Boulevard Friday morning.
GRAYSLAKE, IL — An industrial building was evacuated after a fire broke out Friday morning in Grayslake.
The Grayslake Fire District was called to the building in the 300 block of North Barron Boulevard at about 7:30 a.m., according to a news release. Fire crews who first arrived at the scene found an electrical panel on fire and a smoke-filled building.
Fire crews disconnected the power to the building and extinguished the blaze. The business was evacuated before the fire department's arrival, and no injuries were reported.
