Fire Severely Damages Former Regal Cinemas In Round Lake Beach
The blaze was reported Saturday night at the building at 550 East Rollins Road.
ROUND LAKE BEACH, IL — A blaze "severely damaged" the former Regal Cinemas building in Round Lake Beach Saturday night, fire officials said.
The Round Lake Beach Fire Department responded to the fire after seeing an orange light inside the building at 550 East Rollins Road at about 8:20 p.m., according to a news release from the fire department.
It took firefighters about 40 minutes to get the fire under control. No one was found inside the building, and no injuries have been reported, fire officials said.
