Fright Fest Returns To Six Flags After Year Break
Six Flags Great America said opening day for the Halloween fest is Sept. 18 — and they're now hiring Fright Fest performers.
GURNEE, IL — Fright Fest is back. The Halloween event at Six Flags Great America didn't happen last year due to COVID-19, but will open for its 30th season on Sept. 18.
Fright Fest will be up and running at the Gurnee theme park on select dates through Oct. 31. There will be two new haunted houses and nine "scare zones." The park will be open during the day, for all the little witches and goblins who want to stop out for some family friendly-scares, and also at night, when the park ups its fright factor.
Tickets are available for purchase online. In addition, the most updated rules regarding protocol in place due to COVID-19 can be found on the theme park's website.
