Frosty Fest Returns To Gurnee This Weekend

GURNEE, IL — There might be snow on the ground across the Chicago area but Viking Park in Gurnee will be transformed into a winter wonderland this weekend.

Frosty Fest, a free event that is open to all ages, will run from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Viking Park, 4374 Old Grand Avenue, according to Gurnee Park District officials. The event will include sleigh rides, games, crafts, bumper cars and more.

A hot cocoa bar will be inside the dance hall and s'mores will also be available by a fire.
