Goats 'Taken Into Custody,' Reunited With Owner: Police

Two goats wandering in Grayslake last week were brought in by police until they were able to be reunited with their owner.

GRAYSLAKE, IL — Two goats on the loose in Grayslake last week were reunited with their owner after police stepped in to help get them back home.

On Thursday, the Grayslake Police Department shared a picture of the two goats "taken into custody" after the animals were found wandering in the area of Blackburn Drive in the College Trail subdivision, according to a post on the police department's Facebook page.

In an update, authorities let residents know the goats' owner had been found.

Police said Grayslake Feed Sales Inc. assisted police in reuniting the goats with their owner, according to the Facebook post.
