Grayslake Man Accused Of Producing Sexual Videos Of Former Girlfriend Without Consent, Threatening To Publish Them
A Grayslake man is accused of filming him and his girlfriend engaged in sexual relations without consent.

A Grayslake man is accused of filming him and his girlfriend engaged in sexual relations without consent and then threatening to publish the videos after they broke up.
Fredrick G. Warren, 37, of Grayslake, was charged with dissemination of unlawful video, a Class 3 felony, and unlawful video recording at a residence, a Class 4 felony.

Lake County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Chief Christopher Covelli said a woman, who resides in unincorporated Grayslake, reported that her ex-boyfriend filmed the two of them having sexual intercourse without her consent.
The two got into an argument via text message around the time their relationship was ending. Warren sent her videos of the two of them engaged in sexual intercourse and threatened to publish them, Covelli said.

The victim reported it to the sheriff’s office and an investigation began.
Sheriff’s detectives interviewed Warren and also obtained evidence through subpoena and court process, Covelli said. The case was screened with the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office, which approved the two felony charges.
A Lake County judge signed and issued an arrest warrant for Warren after the charges were approved.
Court records show Warren has not been taken into custody yet and the warrant remains active.
