Grayslake Museum to Stage World War II-Era Fundraiser
Attend a World War II style fundraiser at the end of the month.

GRAYSLAKE, IL - The Grayslake Heritage Center Foundation invites the public to attend an exclusive World War II era, USO-style fundraiser on Friday, April 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Carillon North Club House, 2411 Carillon Drive.
The Village of Grayslake reports: The event includes 1940s, USO-inspired cuisine; an appearance by actor R. J. Lindsey as President Franklin Delano Roosevelt; music by the Highland Park Pops Big Band and an auction of fun and interesting items. Tickets are $50 per person, with checks payable to the Village of Grayslake Heritage Center Fund. Proceeds help support future museum programs, exhibits and initiatives. Attendees are welcome to wear 40s attire or their favorite modern outfit. Space is limited and tickets are available on a first come, first-served basis.
