Grayslake North Lacrosse Bests Evanston

The Knights from Grayslake North improved to 9-4 with a win over Evanston.

Ben Smith was all over the field for Grayslake North with 6 ground balls and played relentless defense all night. Eric York was fantastic in goal with 13 saves. Rounding out the defensive unit were Shane Pech, Ian Pearce, Kevin Carter and Jake Lam.

The offense was led by AJ Fish and Jack Mattea, who were all over the field. Logan Morita, Spencer Davis and Freddie Williams were solid, as was Tyler Lyon.

Goals: Fish 4, Mattea 2, Davis 2, Lyon 1, Collins 1, Williams 1, Fletcher 1, and Morita 1

Assists: Fish 3, Mattea 2, Collins 2, Williams 1.

Next up for the Knights is Warren Tuesday night.
