Grayslake's Skate In The Park Is This Weekend
The fun and festivities will from noon to 3 p.m. at Gelatin Park.

GRAYSLAKE, IL β Free ice skating, a community bonfire and hot chocolate are among the perks offered this weekend at Skate in the Park.
The fun and festivities will from noon to 3 p.m. at Gelatin Park, which is located west of the Grayslake Public Library on Railroad Avenue. Starting at noon, there will be exhibition figure skaters from Glacier Ice Arena.
There will be a free open public skate Central Park for those who bring their own skates as well as s'mores, hot chocolate, a shoot the puck contest, bonfire, warming tent and the chance to talk with ice fishing enthusiasts.

There will also be free skating lessons and food trucks, according to a Grayslake Chamber of Commerce Facebook post.
