Hoffman Estates Man Facing Child Porn, Grooming Charges: Sheriff

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL — A Hoffman Estates man was arrested Friday on charges of child pornography, grooming and intimidation, the Lake County Sheriff's Office said. The Lake County Sheriff's Office Warrants Team, along with the U.S. Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force, arrested 20-year-old Juan C. Castaneda-Adame, of the 900 block of Evanston Street, on an arrest warrant issued April 2 following an investigation by the Round Lake Beach Police Department.

According to officials, members of the Lake County Sheriff's Office Warrants Team developed information that Castaneda-Adame was working at a business in the 1200 block of West Central Road, Arlington Heights, and warrants deputies conducted surveillance, located Castaneda-Adame and arrested him on April 5 without incident.

The sheriff's office said Castaneda-Adame remains at the Lake County Jail on $100,000 bail and is due back in court on May 2.
