“For family-friendly fun this fall, try Six Flags Great America’s other seasonal events, Kids Boo Fest or Oktoberfest!”

Among the “pay-to-panic” mazes at Fright Fest are three inspired by modern cinema: The Conjuring Universe (new this year), SAW: Legacy of Terror, and “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” (2022).

Scare zones include a forbidden forest, vampire-ridden New Orleans and a circus of madness, which is one of three new additions for 2025.

“Scare Zones are pockets of paralyzing fear scattered throughout the park,” according to Six Flags. “Costumed creatures prowl in the fog, and demented performers lurch from the shadows.”

Live shows include “The Ringmaster’s Cabaret: The Ringmaster’s Revenge” and “Wake the Dead,” one of two new shows this year, in which a murderous family reunion turns into a musical trial.

A combination park ticket and haunted attractions pass is $90 online, or a haunted attractions pass alone is $40.
