K9 Dax Tracks Down Fox Lake Armed Robbery Suspect
Lake County Sheriff's K9 Dax and Deputy Forlenza were called to help Fox Lake police track down a robbery suspect Monday morning, Dec. 16.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — Lake County Sheriff's office K9 Dax is once again being called a good boy after he and his partner Deputy Forlenza helped deputies track down a man accused in an armed robbery early Monday morning in Fox Lake. Around 2:10 a.m., K9 Dax and Deputy Forlenza went to a gas station in the 0-100 block of North Route 12, Sgt. Chris Covelli reported, according to the Daily Herald.
K9 Dax and Deputy Forlenza went to help Fox Lake Police, and according to the sheriff's office, K9 Dax tracked the man's scent, and found him hiding behind a business. He was arrested and turned over to Fox Lake Police, and faces charges, the sheriff's office said.
