Man, 19, Reported Missing Earlier This Month Has Died: Police
The man, who was reported missing, was critically injured in a motorcycle crash. He died Wednesday.
GRAYSLAKE, IL — A 19-year-old Lake Villa man has died weeks after his family reported him missing.
The man, who has been identified as Nathan Levandowski, died on Wednesday at Advocate Condell Medical Center.
Following the missing person's report, Levandowski was found at about 7:05 a.m. Oct. 9 in the 2100 block of North Drury Lane in Grayslake, where he'd crashed his motorcycle, according to the Lake County Coroner's Office news release.

Authorities say Levandowski's Kawasaki 650 sport bike was headed northeast on Drury Lane when it went off the roadway. Levandsowksi was thrown from the motorcycle and landed 40 feet east of the road.
There was no indication that any other vehicles were involved, and the victim was wearing all the appropriate safety equipment, according to the coroner's office.

Preliminary results from an autopsy found Levandowski died from blunt force injuries as a result of a crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
