Man Dies In Operating Room After Crash In Grayslake: Coroner

The 62-year-old man crashed his motorcycle after driving at a high rate of speed around curve on Route 83 Friday evening, authorities said.

GRAYSLAKE, IL —A 62-year-old man killed in a Friday motorcycle crash in Grayslake has been identified.

Adolfo Rosario, 62, of Maywood, was seriously injured in the single-vehicle collision that happened in the area of 83 and Route 137 at about 5:20 p.m. on Friday, according to a news release from the Lake County Coroner's Office. He was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center where he later died in the operating room.

Authorities say he was driving a Suzuki GSX-R motorcycle at a high rate of speed around a curve when he went off the road and crashed. Preliminary results from an autopsy show he died from blunt force injuries as a result of the crash.
