Missing Grayslake Area Man Located: Sheriff
The Lake County Sheriff's Office said the man has been located after he was last seen leaving a Wednesday appointment in Park City.

GRAYSLAKE, IL — The Lake County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday afternoon that an elderly man reported last seen Wednesday in Park City has been located, and is safe. The sheriff's office said 84-year-old Thomas G. Turnbull was located Thursday morning in Green Lake, Wisconsin. In a release, Lake County Sheriff John Idleburg thanked the community for sharing their social media alert nearly 3,500 times.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office asks for the public's help in locating a missing man believed to be in danger. The sheriff's office said 84-year-old Thomas G. Turnbull, of the 34100 block of Wright Avenue, unincorporated Grayslake, was last seen around 11 a.m. Wednesday leaving an appointment in the 400 block of Greenleaf Street, Park City, driving his 2015 silver Toyota Corolla with Illinois registration Y878881.
Turnbull is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes, the sheriff's office said, adding that it's not known what type or style of clothing he was wearing Wednesday morning.

The sheriff's office said Turnbull has medical concerns, including showing the early signs of dementia, and doesn't have a cellphone with him. His family and friends haven't seen or heard from him since he left his Wednesday appointment, according to officials.
The sheriff's office asks anyone who happens to see Turnbull or his vehicle to please call 911 so law enforcement can check his well being.
