ROUND LAKE, IL — The Lake County Sheriff's office said deputies were called to a home in the 35300 block of North Nielsen Drive in unincorporated Round Lake at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday for a report involving recovered stolen property. While sheriff's deputies were at the home, sheriff's office dispatchers received information from 911 callers regarding a suspect who had the stolen property who was being held by good Samaritans, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

Further investigation determined that a Gurnee man saw tools he was interested in buying off Facebook Marketplace, according to the sheriff's office. The person he was communicating with, Michael J.
