• Route 83, Winchester Road Intersection Reopens After Months Of Construction Work (patch.com) — Drivers in Grayslake can once again use the Winchester Road and Route 83 intersection after Lake County transportation officials completed a months-long safety upgrade. The project added new turn lanes, a traffic signal, better drainage to reduce flooding, and stronger soil support, following delays caused by unexpectedly poor ground conditions.
