Police Blotter: Cannabis Possession, Alcohol Arrests

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Alcohol

Callie Marie M. Peterson, 28, of 3409 Grace Road, McHenry, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol May 3 near Ashford Lane and East Route 120. She was also cited for DUI over .08, driving in the wrong lane and failure to wear a properly-adjusted and fastened seat safety belt. She was released on her drivers license and $1,000 bond pending a May 28 court date.

Olivia S. Klein, 32, of 10 N. Whitney St., Grayslake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol May 5 near Newbury Court and Cambridge Drive. She was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. She was released on $1,000 bond pending a May 21 court date.

Rafael Villegas, 34, of 5731 N. Christiana, Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol May 6 on the 1000 block of East Route 120. He was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol, not having a valid drivers license and improper lane usage. He was released on $300 cash bond pending a June 4 court date.

Burglary

Laroy D. Bills, 19, of 423 N. Tower Road, Hainesville, was charged with burglary from vehicle May 9 on the 700 block of West Trail North. He was also cited for resisting arrest. He was taken to bond court.

Drugs

Wendell T. Adams Sr., 55, of 18431 Rae Lane, Gurnee, was charged with possession of cannabis (greater than 500 grams and less than 2,000 grams) May 4 near North Route 45 and Center Street. He was also cited for delivery of cannabis (greater than 500 grams and less than 2,000 grams), operating an uninsured motor vehicle, following too closely and improper lane usage. He was taken to bond court.

Warrant

Rodney C. Bradin, 25, of 560 Pheasant Court, Grayslake, was arrested on a warrant May 10 on the 600 block of Green Bay Road in Waukegan. He was taken to bond court.
