Police Investigate Stabbing Death Of Grayslake Man, 42: Coroner

Adam Hoth has been identified as the person found dead in a street in Waukegan Sunday night, according to the coroner's office.

LAKE COUNTY, IL β€” Authorities are investigating the stabbing death of a 42-year-old Grayslake man, who was killed Sunday night in Waukegan.

The Waukegan Police Department was called to the area of West Harrison Avenue and North Adelphi Street at about 10 p.m. Sunday for a report of a person who had been stabbed, according to a news release from the Lake County Coroner's Office.

Officers responded and found the man dead in the street. Emergency responders performed CPR on the man, who was transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center and pronounced dead in the emergency room.

On Tuesday, the Lake County Coroner's Office identified the man as Adam Hoth, 42, of Grayslake.

Results from an autopsy show Hoth died from multiple sharp force injuries, authorities said. The cause of the death remains under investigation.
