Police Release Composite Sketch In Round Lake Luring Incidents

The suspect is described as being a Hispanic male who is about 5-feet, 2-inches tall. He has a skinny/slender build, short facial hair on his chin, and was last seen wearing a dark- or black-hood sweatshirt with the hood up and blue jeans.

ROUND LAKE, IL — Authorities in Round Lake have released more information regarding luring incidents that happened earlier this month.

A composite sketch of the suspect accused of approaching juveniles in the 30 block of MacGillis Drive during the morning of Jan. 23 has been released, authorities announced Monday. Police have also released information on the suspect vehicle used in the incidents, which they say is a Toyota Siena XLE Hybrid that is grey.

The model year is between 2021 and 2024, police said.

Authorities say he spoke with a "Spanish-sounding" accent.

A photo of the man's vehicle has also been released by police, which can be viewed below.

An investigation into the luring incidents continues and extra patrols have been happening in the area where the incidents occurred, police said Tuesday. Meanwhile, police in Grayslake are also investigating a separate attempted kidnapping but have not said that the incidents are linked.
