Rodney Atkins To Perform At Free Concert In Antioch

ANTIOCH, IL — The village of Antioch will kick off its free concert series on June 8 with a performance from country music star Rodney Atkins.

Atkins is the first performer planned for this summer's free concert lineup in Antioch, according to village officials. The village of Antioch is partnering with Chicago radio station US99 (99.5) and the Raymond Auto Group to make the event happen.

The show will begin at 6 p.m. at the William E. Brook Entertainment Complex, 900 Skidmore Drive in Antioch, and Mackenzie O'Brien will be opening for the concert, according to a news release from the village of Antioch.

“I am thrilled to announce the partnership between the Village of Antioch, US99, and the Raymond Auto Group to kick off our It's Thursday summer concert series with country music star Rodney Atkins,” said Antioch Mayor Scott Gartner. “This concert promises to be a fantastic event for all ages, and we are grateful for the support of our generous sponsors. Come join us for a night of great music and experience all that downtown Antioch has to offer.”
