Santa's Rock N Lights Opens Friday In Grayslake

GRAYSLAKE, IL — Santa's Rock N Lights opens Friday at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Grayslake.

The immersive drive-thru, which is more than one mile long, will feature almost one million lights This is the sixth year the light show will be up and running and is one of the Chicago area's longest-running drive-thru light show.

The show features lights synchronized to music and features: life-sized dinosaurs, supersized reindeer and polar bears, a fluorescent forest of massive Christmas trees and vibrant vortexes made from more than 700 feet of light tunnels, according to a news release.

Tickets are on sale now on the Santa's Rock N Lights website, and the drive thru will run from Friday through Dec. 31.
