Star Athlete: Little Miss Grayslake Balances Charity Work, Softball
Vivian has been nominated by her mom who says, "she doesn't get much down time and continues to amaze us every day."
GRAYSLAKE, IL — We all know student athletes who also bring their A-game to other parts of their lives.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. We’re working to let all your neighbors know the individual stories behind the leaderboard.

Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?
Vivian is a traveling softball player who puts in the hard work to continue to get better. She was tiny miss Grayslake and Little Miss Grayslake doing untold hours of community service during her reigns. She has never complained once about going to school then coking home and doing softball, charity work or going grocery shopping. She doesn’t get much down time and continues to amaze us every day!
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?
She works hard at everything she does and is getting better at everything including how to be a great person!
