Your Guide To This Weekend's Summer Days Festival
Grayslake Summer Days festival is back this weekend. Besides the parade Saturday, there will be bands and family-friendly activities.

GRAYSLAKE, IL — After taking a year off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Grayslake Summer Days will make its return this weekend. This year's festival will include musical entertainment, family-friendly activities and a parade packed with some exciting acts, including a fire breather, unicyclists, jugglers, stilt walkers and more.
Here is a look at the schedule for this year's festival, which will be held Friday and Saturday in downtown Grayslake:
Aug. 20

6 p.m.: Blooze Brothers takes the stage
8 p.m.: Total Recall performs

10 p.m.: 7th Heaven
Aug. 21
1 to 4 p.m.: A touch-a-truck event, carnival games and hands-on activities with the Lake County's Fair Association
6 p.m.: The Celebrate 125 + 1 parade steps off at 6 p.m. There will be jugglers, unicyclists, stilt walkers, a fire breather, marching bands, Sam the Wheeler on the giant wheel, McCrae Farm French Classical Dressage, the Crystal Lake Strikers drum line, local marching bands, classic cars and more.
8 p.m.: American English takes the stage
10 p.m. Modern Day Romeos performs
