SUV Fatally Strikes Grayslake Man in Waukegan

GRAYSLAKE, IL - Authorities had not yet released the identity Monday afternoon of a 39-year-old Grayslake man who was fatally struck late Sunday by an SUV in Waukegan.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a Sun-Times Media article. He was reportedly hit around 10:30 p.m. while crossing the street in the 200 block of Green Bay Road.

Police told reporters that the man's dark-colored clothing may have been a factor in the accident.
