3 Arrested for DUI in Highland Park Last Week
Several people were also arrested for driving with a suspended or cancelled license.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Luis Calleja-Perez, 29, of Wheeling, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, open transportation of alcohol, uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage and driving while license suspended after the violations occurred on Half Day Road and was stopped by police in the 300 block of Prairie Avenue in Highwood at 11 p.m. April 11. Calleja-Perez was released on a cash bond with a court date of May 16.
Jose Lome-Rodriguez, 26, of Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage and driving while license suspended after being stopped by police in the 3300 block of Skokie Valley Road at midnight April 12. Lome-Rodriguez was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of May 16.

John Shaw, III, 29, of Gurnee, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and following too closely after being stopped by police near the intersection of Old Elm Road and Skokie Valley Road at 3:30 a.m. April 13. Shaw, III was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of May 16.
DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Juan Lopez-Colecio, 30, of Highland Park, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, expired registration and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police at 9 p.m. April 10 in the 600 block of Homewood Avenue. Lopez-Colecio was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of May 28.
Ronald Maas, 18, of Ingleside, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and failing to carry drivers license after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road at 9:30 p.m. on April 10. Maas was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of May 28.
James Hamilton, 68, of Evanston, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, open transportation of alcohol and speeding after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road at 12:45 a.m. April 11. Hamilton was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of May 14.
DRIVING WHILE LICENSE CANCELLED
James Bass, 25, of Zion, was arrested and charged with driving while license cancelled and speeding after being stopped by police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road at 2 a.m. April 11. Bass was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of May 28.
