Call for Artists: 6th Annual Highland Park Art Walk

A juried exhibition of artwork by Illinois artists displayed in downtown Highland Park shops and businesses from June 1 - June 30, 2011.   Download artists application at www.highlandparkartwalk.org.  Deadline for submissions is March 4, 2011.

A MEET THE ARTIST day will be held on June 11, 2011 from 1 – 4 pm which is a great opportunity for art lovers to meet the artists in person at their display locations.  Also, an Award Ceremony and Benefit Reception will be held on June 11, 2011 from 4 – 6 pm at a location to be announced.

Our Art Walks help foster the careers of artists by giving them the
opportunity to market themselves in a viewer friendly environment; and serve to honor individuals who have contributed and dedicated themselves to the arts community; all while supporting downtown Highland Park businesses.

The Highland Park Art Walk is funded in part by the Cultural Arts
Commission of Highland Park, the  Highland Park CBD Alliance, the Illinois Arts Council, a State Agency, the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs City Arts Program I grant, and through partnerships with local businesses and corporations.   Contributions are tax-deductible.
