The City of Highland Park Departments of Community Development and Public Works are currently gathering public input for a Non-Motorized Transportation Plan focusing on reducing automobile congestion, cutting greenhouse gas emissions and promoting alternative transportation for everyday activities. The plan is an amendment to the Greenways Plan and will support the goals of the Highland Park Community Sustainability Strategic Plan by improving sidewalk conditions, constructing bicycle routes and designing a Complete Streets policy.
Below, please find a link to a survey intended to convey public opinion during the planning phase of the project. Residents of and employees in of Highland Park are encouraged to spend a few minutes answering the questions and sharing their experiences and thoughts about pedestrian and bicycle transportation in the Highland Park.
