Auto Dealer Inks Multi-Million Deal for Sales Tax Rebates

Audi and Porsche Exchange dealerships make 12-year rebate deal with City of Highland Park.

Highland Park auto dealer Ernie Semersky has reached an agreement with the city for 12 years of sales tax rebates capped at $8.55 million, reported the Chicago Tribune.

The Audi and Porsche Exchange dealerships, owned by Semersky Enterprises, Inc., has plans for a $20 million expansion expected to double business by 2023, according to the Tribune. The sales tax rebate deal, struck with the help of former Highland Park Mayor Ray Geraci, is a result of that.
