Council Considers Electric Car Charging Station

After pulling item from agenda twice in September, Highland Park City Council plans to talk about it Monday.

An electric car charging station is set for consideration by the Highland Park City Council at 7:30 p.m. Monday, according to the agenda listed on the City’s website.

The electric car charging station, if approved, will provide space for two vehicles to charge from a single plug on the lower level of the southern end of the City’s parking deck on St. Johns Avenue between Central and Laurel Avenues.

This item has been on the agenda for both of the Council’s September meetings but was removed.
