Cynthia Erivo, Lenny Kravitz To Take Stage At 2025 Ravinia Festival
Ravinia, North America's longest-running outdoor music festival, announced the 2025 summer festival lineup.
HIGHLAND PARK, IL — Cynthia Erivo, Janelle Monáe, Lenny Kravitz and Maren Morris will take the stage this summer as performers for the 2025 Ravinia summer concert series in Highland Park, festival runners announced Thursday morning.
The yearly festival will take place over the summer starting June 6 until Aug. 31 and features music, art and culinary experiences. This year's full lineup includes more than 100 artists who perform in a variety of different genres.
“Ravinia has something for everyone—classical music, rock, pop, R&B, soul, Latin, jazz, country, hip-hop, DJs, movies, musical theater, and more!” says Ravinia President and CEO Jeffrey P. Haydon.

“We are grateful to continue opening our beautiful park for communities throughout Chicagoland to enjoy an evening under the stars with their family and friends, listening to music from their favorite artists and discovering new ones.”
According to festival officials, 40 artists are set to make their Ravinia debut this year, including Beck, Lang Land and Earth, Wind & Fire. Some beloved returning artists include John Legend, Heart, James Taylor, the Roots and The Black Crowes.

This year, Ravinia boasts more orchestral performances than any previous season, from core classics to genre-defying collaborations. The Chicago Symphony Orchestra will have a six-week residency, performing with soloists Garrick Ohlsson, Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Himari, and Tony Award winners Sutton Foster and Kelli O’Hara.
Mahler's Second Symphony will also partner with big-name artists such as Cynthia Erivo, Morgan Freeman and Beck to produce specially orchestrated performances.
As part of the Breaking Barriers festival, established in 2022, the summer festival aims to highlight female leaders in food and music. Star of Food Network’s "Girl Meets Farm" and Juilliard-trained percussionist Molly Yeh will perform a unique concert that pairs musical works with culinary dishes cooked by celebrity chefs.
Tickets for the performances go on sale starting April 24. Reserved seats cost $180 and lawn tickets range from $59 to $100.
